Today I was visiting with my daughter and son-in-law and we were reminiscing about last week's pun. My son-in-law mentioned that I should write a book about puns. To which I replied, without hesitation, "We'll call it 'Once Upun a Time!'"
So, I am Jen...Bruce's daughter. I told him he needed to make this blog so the rest of us could enjoy a chuckle or a groan on a regular basis, because let's face it...Dad is funny, or should I say "punny?" So, enjoy the musings of Bruce, and be sure and stop by often!
In the summer of 2002 after a career in the high technology industry I followed my heart accepting a teaching position in the Business Management Department at Brigham Young University-Idaho. We live in Rexburg, ID, a town of 25,000 about 30 minutes north of Idaho Falls. We're 90 miles from West Yellowstone, and about the same from Jackson Hole. After living in major California cities all our lives, we love a smaller town, and being close to some of the best recreation in the entire country. I've taken up fly fishing and love the long summer nights when I can be on a river until 10pm. I've had opportunity to teach business strategy, sales & and negotiations, international business and global marketing. In August 2008 I was appointed Associate Academic VP for Curriculum. I've had opportunity to travel to China, Cuba (really), Mexico, Central and South America, and many locations in the U.S. In January 2007 I began a PhD program in Instructional Design and Technology. I anticipate finishing and defending my dissertation in the fall of this year.
